Wier is a poet and founding editor of Factory Hollow Press. With Emily Pettit and Guy Pettit she publishes and edits for FHP which is located in Flying Object (founded in 2009 by Guy Pettit),a community arts center located in Hadley, Massachusetts of which she is a member. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree in poetry from Bowling Green University, 1974.
