This week marks the second week of our Countdown to Christmas! We are going to do a little something new though. Rather than post all of the books at the beginning of the week, we are going to add a book every day to this post. That way, it keeps you on your toes as to what book will be featured the next day. If you have any questions, reach out to me at mkross@bgsu.edu.

21 Days to Christmas: The Legend of the Poinsettia

This is a beautiful children’s story based off a legend in Mexico about how the poinsettia flowers came to be associated with Christmas. The little girl in this book is learning all about the birth of Christ during the Christmas season, and through giving an unselfish gift to Christ, the poinsettia flowers appear during the night, beautifully decorating the church. For any parent looking for stories of Christ to share with your children during this holiday season, this is the perfect story.
